Pastor James Woodley was saved while attending college in Chico, Ca in 1971. Shortly after his salvation, God called him into the ministry. He graduated from Northwest Baptist Seminary in Tacoma, Washington with a Master of Divinity degree. He completed work for a Doctorate at Northwest Graduate School, then later transferred his work to Salt Lake Baptist College, where he was awarded a Doctor of Theology degree.
In addition to over 40 years as a Pastor, he has taught in several Christian schools and Bible colleges.
He met his wife, Jane shortly after he was saved. They’ve been married for 48 years and have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. Jane has served in the music ministry for over 50 years and is the current church pianist.
